Firepits

Firepits

Postby Jfloyd » Tue Jun 23, 2009 9:05 pm

I think it'd be nice to have a permanent form of fire. Maybe have it only be buildable by Lawspeakers/cheiftains. It could be large than a fire, and could be used as a community gathering place. To fuel it, people would just throw branches in.
EDIT:
Heres what I think would be a good requirement:
Firepit
30 stone
2 cast iron (It'd have a little metal smoke stack thing over it.

I'd like this :) (also seems rather simple to implement)

Call me weird, but that kinda sounds like the current fireplaces. ;)

They may not be "refuelable", but building a new one sounds kinda the same.

They'd produce more light, and...maybe last longer. Could have food cook faster on it?

I'd rather have bonfires that produce coal.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

That'd be nice. Fuel them with blocks, and the left overs make chunks of coal.
Also, I think regular fires ashes should be able to be used, and ashes should be able to fertilize things.

Interface and number of clicks wise refueling is quite different (and preferable) to rebuilding. Lower (zero?) LP gain from it though...

Regardless I think the idea is for a much larger fire than the average camp fire, like a tribal bonfire or something.

I think it would be great if normal fires could be fueled, and that we could gather ashes from them when they burn out.
