A use for Flax seed - Flaxseed oil (linseed oil)

I was tossing flax seeds away in my quest for plant fibers and I wondered how the seeds could be used in the game.
Flax seed oil, also known as linseed oil is a cold pressed oil, so it is within the technology scope of the game to make, and it would work great as a lamp oil. Or, if we wanted to be very clever, as a health supplement. (ugh!)
Due to it's stabilizing properties on wood, this could also slow down the degradation of wood items once the game Devs incorporate a decay algorithm.
But really, I just hate tossing all that seed away. Maybe feed it to the chickens??

I approve. Also, hemp seed oil should be added, because hemp is commonly grown for oil.

Any generic seed like flax is useful for repairing clay diggings. I use a lot of it and the hemp seed too.

To mend remove stone you have to dig clay
And to remove clay you have to plant seed (as grass not as flax or hemp)
It also repairs unwanted ploughed ground.
Then you are back to grass tile and if in a forest your next step is to plant a fir

Can you tell I changed my mind a lot as to my farm's layout?
