Noise on/off button.

As the subject says, could we have a noise on/off button? I generally listen to music, and even with winamp at 100% and the hardware knob low, the H&H sound effects are grating.
i guess they never miss huh

Your computer doesn't have a built-in program muter?
You can probably download one somewhere.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

XP, as far as I know, does not do that. My sound drivers do not have a program to go along with them to do something like that either.

Anyway, for if Loftar reads this: Since you hate UI work, you could just make it a command - ie. Sound 1, Sound 0; for on and off respectively. Just have it check before it plays a noise if you have Sound turned on or off ;)

The trouble is by muting all sounds you cant listen to radio at the same time.
Might I suggest a ":sound off" command?

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
