I was talking a bit about force summoning in the game today. and it came up that it might be a nice feature if fellow village members could come to investigate as one of their fellow residents was being force summoned.
so whenever someone that is part of a village gets forced summoned, all online members of that village will receive a warning of this.
this could make 'living together' give a sort of bonus to how secure your caracter is, when you're offline your pals from the village can look over you, sure they dont have to directly come running with bows and arrows to protect you but at the very least they could talk with the person that is doing the force summon to see if they have to jump in or not.
it could also give rise to a settlement of thieves that all look out for one another aswell which is just added coolness for the feature.

Village warnings could also be taken further. where acts of vandalism/assault/etc could be broadcasted to the online village members, they wouldnt know 'where' the event is taking place (unlike the hearthfire summoning) but its a good sign for them to spring into arms and find out. (theft and tresspassing shouldnt be broadcasted tough... since thiefs need to have a chance of sneaking around)
maybe such broadcasts could cost the village some of its authority. And the chief/lawspeaker would be able to set asside a certain amount of authority that can be used for broadcasts. (like... 'untill 60%' or untill '40%' etc)
