or better yet! 257 inventories, which comes down to 8995 slots cupboard.
my post is no more a joke then the OP, both don't have any serious arguments. it does nothing for trade and you keep the stuff you want separate at the bottom because stuff gets added top to bottom, left to right. separately placing them at the bottom is no more work then placing them in a separate 2x4box at the top.
You ever try going Tradition and sacrificing for Numen?
Futhermore, try a table. I'd rather have an item that opens 4x 8x8 'container inventories', than 1x 16x16. The reason is being able to separate it like that.

The main point is not a size, but ability to see what insude the cupboar without opening it.
I the same way you see plates and setere on a table.
All players have dozen of cupboars, ant it is a bit hard to memorize witch one you need.
1 to 4 slots, where one can put stuffs that will be shown on the top of the cupboars (fron distance, as plates on a table) - that is the main point.
p.s.
normal inventory is 24 slots.
when trade ppl usually calculate goods by chasts or inventories. But it is NOT a main point of the post.
It is indeed very hard to memorize them unless you stick with a plan, but that can be a big pain, being able to identify cupboards separately would be nice.
