Hey guys.
Sorry to put a lot of ideas on one thread. I've read the rules but all the ideas are on the same topic (Improving Archery duh), so i think it would be fit to put them all here.
Ok, let's start this:
On Arrows:
We need a wider variety of arrows, not just Bone or Stone.
Arrows could be like fishing poles, we craft the main body and add things to it.
Just imagine the possibilities. One person just started the game, he would make simple arrows just made of wood. As he progress he could start adding stone or bone heads. Then he finds some chickens, and all his arrows now have feather fletchings. But he is now a fearsome warrior, defending his land with metal-headed arrows.
On Quivers:
I think more advanced players could have 100 arrow quivers made of hardened leather.
Other idea is not mine but I'll add here, we could attach quivers to belts.
And smaller quivers could be made of barks or blocks of wood.
On new bows:
New bows made for various purposes. Composite bows made of boards and bone glue and Compound bows made of strings and metal, of course the latter needing basic mechanics.
On Crossbows:
Crossbows wouldn't need to be separate weapons, one could make just the stock and attach any bow to it. The bow then could become single-handed.
Well, those are the ideas I support for having a more realistic and fun Archery.
Please tell me what you think
