The inner part of the market is safe because of the visitor buff. The people inside are the traders, perhaps? One of our traders has set up a barter stand selling silk and curios, which is highly demanded. At least, I know the person in the dhelm inside (been trading since the last world). I port to the charter stone zone with my domesticated horses as well, sometimes. So what?
As for the runestones and alt-blocking, this has always been happening even in the last world. Not sure why are you so surprised. I have not stated that it is safe to come to the market on your mains. I have always insisted that the traders should use charterstones or the alts.
As for the stolen loot and blah-blah, it's no excuse for killing traders. Especially when you could take it back easily by using a cr.
It was a naked scrub. And he ran into a group of armed guys trying to get their boat back.
Maybe I would've thought twice if it wasn't some naked dumbass trying to stir up trouble.
