I'm fleshing out suggestion that stockpiles would be given variable colors based on their contents that update when nobody has stockpiles xx/xx window open. Updating it realtime would open up nifty path for DDOSsing or at least increase server load.
I personally hate it when malachite (green ore) makes red piles.
