wtb the good old legacy days when noone gave a shit if you got raided by a unintended mechanic or a bug and it would had been complete nonsense to ask the devs to nuke someone because of it.

But they did punish abuse on occasion though Davis ... AD in W6, all those hearth vaults ...

In this instance I am sort of torn as to whether it is officially bug abuse due to the issues of lax security which was also a part of why this happened.
However, if devs decide it is abuse then I agree with Archi, there has to be consistency, you can't punish one group for bug abuse and then let another get away with it.
It is up to the devs to decide at the end of the day.

Legacy was free. This is a game where people pay and some minimums should be required. Without a proper system ensuring cheaters will be punished a lot of people could choose to stop paying or playing.

If this acts remain unpunished, legal certainty and therefor legitimate expectations of future costumers will be compromised.

People stop playing certain multiplayer games such as shooters when cheaters camp freely and unpunished. Specially on those people pay for.

I don't see how ramming should be the only way to raid someone. Ever heard of insiders? Backstab? Failure to protect your village? All of these should be possible IMO, and while "backstab" while visiting isn't possible anymore, failure to properly protect your village and insiders are still possible, and one of those way used to raid the village.
