I thought most ppl moved to other place? AFAIK the only things of value left in that place was the stuff that couldnt be moved from personal leantos which amounts to 3 pieces of salt and some gold/silver. The only person who lost a char was jesus, I'm not sure where onep gets this "4 bodies" from, I doubt there will be any developed skulls.

TheLoli wrote:then DiS should have gotten nuked as well for exploiting mechanics to surround their village with a bunch of mini villages for extra defense.

That is abusing game mechanics sure but its not harmful to others. When Core got nuked it was seen as retribution for what they did to other villages.

I doubt there will be a nuke in this case though, it's not as black and white as Core. It is a nice solid grey color.

i think this is a developer oversight on the vistior debuff. like archi has explained over majority of the pages, if teleporting into the palisade leaves you with vistor debuff then surely all ways to teleport into the palisade should leave you with visitor debuff?

I think this should be looked at as a bug, as it doesn't seem to be 'intended' but just overlooked and then abused. I'm pretty sure we normally do keep stockpiles around the charter stone but i personally have not been online in 2 -3 weeks.

To be honest odditown you probably could of placed a ram with how inactive the place was, avoided all this and saved yourself a ton of hard leather.

Also please do not use pictures from the old R'lyeh raid. I dont even believe half of the loot you said you got there or amount of characters you killed. how can we believe that the story you used to get in is even the truth if you cant even put up truthful pictures.

I think a nuke may be too far, but i think some kind of punishment should have been given for not making the devs aware.

I know that any bugs i have found in previous worlds, including a bug were you could teleport BULK items accross the server with no penalty ; I have reported immediately. I now feel like I should of abused it...

IF this is decided to be an unintentional mechanic, then it seems to me the fix would be that new spawned character no longer automatically have a hearth fire and must instead forage and build one as part of the quest system. Do I think this deserves a nuke? No, not for finding it, or for the use of it. does it need to be fixed, I believe so, but I do believe that such decision lies with the Dev's.

I'm just going to take this thread to mean by passing visitor debuff is an intended mechanic if nothing happens. Which is fine, just gotta get a response from jorb.

Mineholes are such common transitions into towns, it should be the case that if one spits you out within a walled V-claim, that it should provide the visitor buff.

As a PSA, it is still necessary to wall off your mineholes as in legacy.
