Devs have the last word on this, but im pretty sure they didnt plan things to go this way.
This is a clear abuse of the system driven by a weak or non existant rule system.

This. Though I'm pretty sure the visitor buff was only originally intended to work with gates. This is why I don't think this was "bug abuse", and rather a problem of people being misinformed.
And again, this is nothing new. This has happened many times in the past (even to ainran in w7 I think). The only difference is that back then there was no visitor buff to make you feel safe.

Do you think is intended to allow a new char with enough lp to spawn in a non invited village, get the mats and the skills and build a minehole in order to allow non invited people to enter and rape everybody and their goods?

Exactly what amount of wisdom and knowledge are devs expecting for new players? Should they go to school or study game mechanics to avoid this situations before playing haven and hearth? Because IMHO this is discouraging.

I do personally agree it's a retarded mechanic that needs to be fixed, but it's also a retarded mechanic that many of us are used to by now. I don't see why anyone should be nuked for anything like this. It's "clever use of mechanics" (as dumb as that sounds, I know), not bug abuse.
