I don't know anything about this- I'm neither part of R'lyeh nor actively talk with them, if they abused an exploit they should be punished as well.

I'm speaking based off what I know, and what I've seen, and what people suspect/are defending.

Are you claiming it's intended then?

NOOBY93 wrote:It obviously isn't an INTENDED way of raiding someone, but nobody got nuked nor anything restored when the alt summoning abuse got fixed. Situations like this make the game better because now the devs will see what happened and act accordingly.

All I can hear in this thread is tears. Seems as if a few simple measures could've prevented this.

Don't know/care much about previous things I wasn't around for. If the devs plan to start punishing people for bug abuse, then there's no reason not to punish people here. If that's by nuke, or killing characters or whatever- It's clear someone needs to be punished however.

u need to see the difference between unintended mechanic and unintended bug, it's been rooted here since forever

the charterstone and visitor relation ALLOWED us to that, it was not like we went around it by using chairs or something - it was just like that in the game, who knows if it was intended?

jorb basically said "ok" to that issue, so I guess it was intended as well?

There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

Ultimately yes, it's a matter of what he says- but I can't possibly imagine him supporting this.

I don't particularly care if there's a punishment (although I agree that there should be), but the fact that nobody reported this even after abusing it lends to say there might be.

If the dev's were fine with you using charterstones to raid a place, they would have likely permitted all 3 of the situations:

1. If you spawn an alt there, no visitor debuff
2. If you teleport there otherwise, no visitor debuff
3. If you hearthstone back there, no visitor debuff

However, both 1 and 2 give you a visitor debuff- it's clear they didn't want people to be able to use visitor debuffs to raid a village. The fact that 3 doesn't give you a visitor debuff is an obvious oversight from the dev-standpoint, and it's hard to understand how anyone would view it as "intended game mechanics" when it's clear they don't want you to use charterstones to raid.

Not quite ... 1. Does not give you a visitor debuff, I just tested it. If you spawn a fresh character with the charterstone you do not get a visitor debuff + you get a hearthfire near the stone. That way you can go out ... do your stuff and then hearth back in and trash the place up. Either way this goes, nuke or not, a lesson is to be taught here - Protect your charterstones. Dunno what the devs will do to fix this exploit (pretty easy I guess to insta get a visitor debuff after using the stone teleport and maybe for fresh characters spawn with no hearthfire if using the charterstone secret - you have to build it later).

A conclusion arises - This is why we cannot have nice things. I love this game, but the major factions that kinda rule the game are just lame bastards. They wage their autistic ego wars and have no intention whatsoever in having the game improved but rather abuse everything for a moment of glory in a retarded moot post.

Inb4, as we all know having more than others makes life different. There should be laws for poor and rich.
And this is why we cant have nice things.

Irl you should be telling this to people on its face. Its like 1v1 in haven or xv1. No balls.

Jorb has designed the game so that the only intended way to commit crimes inside walls is to destroy the walls with ram or catapult.

Any other way is not intended, therefore is a walljump and so should be reported. I don't think tartarus cares about their town other than 2 characters they lost.

But it would pretty unfair to DiS alone if they got nuked for walljumping last world, and you get don't because.... some lame excuse not even worth reading.

Did you ram/catapult into palisaded village? its a yes/no question. Answer is no.

As the person who takes the most fault for that last world, I don't hold anything against you guys at all.

If someone else did this, I'd have argued the same thing I am now.

Was this reported to devs before doing it? If not, nuke.
