What's with the Brazillians (and the current political scene

So, after some good 1 - 2 years break from HnH, I'm looking to start a new village with my friends, so I am doing some reading on the current political scene of the game, as I usually do before settling, and I noticed a lot of mentions to the "Brazillians". Now, I am a brazillian myself, so that got me intrigued, as I when I used to play brazillians were not really a thing in this game. There was my group (about 10 at the time), and, well, no one else.

So, who are these guys?

P. S. I figure this whole thing could be just trolling, but doesn't really hurt to ask.
P. P. S. A summary of the current political scene of the game would also be much apreciated.

Being American I have a genetic propensity to defend my national pride. Are half of those people even American/Canadian? Or just people you don't like?

Laddy goo you really need to cite your sources and test them before posting wrong information. I know for a guaranteed fact that at least 50% of that information you just posted is literally and factually wrong.
