[W] Straw

I need straw for thatching material. I like houses with straw roofs

I don't have much to offer in return but we can talk something out :3

I live on a snowy peak so I can't plant barley myself. Yes, this is voluntary. I want a pretty snowy village :3 so I need Straw to LARP away \o/

Anyone willing to help?

Straw is probably still quite rare, and about now it will be getting thrown into bee hives etc.

But i hope you get your straw. Buildings need to look the part!

I did manage to get some seeds, maybe if I find some nice, isolated place and plant them... :3

Best to plant your seeds on claimed land, preferably behind a palisade.

Nope.

Apparently someone found my little field today and harvested it.
It was funny, though. It seems the person knew I needed the Straw so they left the straw there, just taking the seeds. They also left one tile of barley so I could recover my seeds. That was kinda nice, even though they did take it in the first place

But considering it wasn't claimed... yeah, it was really nice

I could talk to those in muh village if they are okay parting with some straw. We have a lot of barley planted right now, enough for a couple hundred straw at least on the next harvest. I know they were wanting to make more beehives and about 12 chicken coops but it wont hurt to ask. I can probably get you an answer in 2 hours or so.

*Edit* About how much straw are you looking at needing?

If you can't, which is dumb, sorry buddy, how do you have a field? Do you have a random patch of plowable ground?
