Extending the olive branch!

Postby majorevers » Wed Feb 24, 2016 2:28 pm

Good day, or evening fellow survivors! I go by Major, and it's my pleasure to announce that our little village is looking to grow into a mutually profitable hub for the region - not just us. That being said, there's a growing desire to raid for you experienced players out there, especially since this new world is so ripe for plucking! I totally understand the ease of it all in the risk v. reward ratio (RRR for shorthand). However, while we're still growing we desire to prosper in peace and can provide open trade with any and all parties in the region.

Drop me a kin or a PM and we can discuss things further!

Post may be edited as experience upon these matters unfurls, keep your eyes open if this catches your eye!

Thankfully there hasn't been as much death around our parts; but there have been changes.

The village we had established has since been abandoned due to a lacking of safety where we would forage. We are, however, working on building the community up and once we're ready to receive the outside world I shall be posting up the pertaining details.

Until then, I open the floor to my fellow Hearthlings: We would like to become a secure trading hub for this iteration of the world; that being said there will be additions of roleplaying aspects wherein we will prefer for folks to remain in character while on the premesis. My inquiry to the forum at large is such: For when we are prepared to open our gates to the public, will there be a desire for a place of commerce and communion? The village itself will be a Dwarven settlement, meaning the in character culture to receive you will be dwarves! There will be at least one tavern, or mead hall, plots of land for rent and purchase, an active government and all the like.

While it all sounds so dreamy and great; it is quite the distance away. We shall be implementing currency in both bartering for the market, and coinage (As I understand, you can make coins), so start saving up!

While here on the forum I'm still Major Evers, I am presently working on an alt here in the new settlement. Feel free to add me to kin at: needmocheese or shoot me a PM on here with your thoughts!

So it's a bit like NB, without being a shithole ? ¦]

No offense meant to the people of NB (Though they are a wildly backwards society waiting to get rekt), but you're absolutely right. We're going to have a well defined gov't, one that keeps in constant communication. There won't be any pettiness or drama.

You have lofty ambition! Good lucks to you. I think if you are trying to do these thing, you will need forum face for this. Suggestion to apply forum face to your postings. How men will trust a man who hides his face?
