Searching of Village of Awesome People

Got a taste of the bad side of hermit life, and looking to possibly work alongside a village in order to learn and discover new stuff in the game.

Fairly noobish, and I've spent my time growing crops and crafting everything I can from foraged items and my farm.

I have not discovered anything but cast iron (one bar of it...) and have never tamed an animal or won in combat.

More interested in living somewhat separate from everyone so that I can do my own thing- Just would like to be able to be part of a community for a while to see how it works.

May not be moving immediately... because someone trapped me in my own palisade. But once I'm broken out, I'm relocating anyway. Just would like to know if i should head in a specific direction!

I've deleted my post here becaue of, well, reasons
but
yeah you can expect a hole in your pali in like 15 irl hours
also I'd suggest you research that Oak village, 'cause it's not hard to get to from your lockd location.

oh my god you're my hero, seriously. I'm gathering my crap now- all i need is what's in my cart against the south wall. i suppose the rest is free game. I'm headed to that village first for sure. If I like it i'll probably stay as long as i'm welcome. But YAY FREEDOM!!
