hermit looking for village

Postby Valten21 » Sun Jul 31, 2016 6:22 pm

Hey there everyone, I'm a casual player coming back to the game (last played during legacy). I've spent a few days exploring the new world and mechanics and I think I'm ready to join a village!

Here is a comprehensive list of things I Excell at

- fishing
- foraging
- crafting (tools, furniture)

My play time is usually from 2pm - 4 am central time. I'm currently unemployed so have plenty of time to play.

Hope you consider me, thanks in advance.

Oh I forgot to add I'm more inclined on bringing my character to you but I wouldn't be opposed to spawning a new character if the conditions are right.

You may want to consider Vidarrheim: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=50244
W3-W8 - Hermit
W9 - (Ex)-Leader of Vidarrheim

was useful during early game in legacy for fishing perch so u could together with blueberries and blueberry pies get 50 or 100 int quickly, but in new hnh it really is a waste of time without reward (until someone drops something useful and drops a lot of it so u are sure u will get some of these items)

Interesting, so you don't think fishing is a viable occupation anymore?

I'll weighn in here a little, the answer to your question depends on your game style. If you wish to join some raiding faction, level your character in the fastest and most efficient way possible, grind best quality and generally join the "race for leadership", fishing has nothing to do with that. On the other hand, a small semi-hermit village can do quite a lot of good with a few stockpiles of freshly caught fish. Just not that... top-shelf good, capiche? ;)
