New to the game

Looking to join up with someone and start building a place to stay. I'm new to the game and need to learn about how things work. So far I have ran around aimlessly doing random stuff, not getting much done. I've never seen anybody else in this game but I've seen some towns with dead animals and unharvested farms.

Welcome to the game. I am fairly new myself (started about a month and a half ago) and am loving the game so far.
