Congratulations, guys! Nobody deserves it more than you to make your living with the things you love to do. Looking forward to it, although I am kinda afraid in the long run this will mean the end of H&H.

I can't wait. I love H&H, even if i suck at it and have been unfairly maimed by boars. I can't wait for Salem, seems like an interesting change of pace with the same core game play style. That's the thing i like the most from H&H anyway.

Games got to make money even f2p ones. Most f2p games use a item shop of some sort and this will also I guess. But who knows

10 years?
lolu
haven has only been out for like what, 3 years?

And imo it will have a cash shop because it's being endorsed by a larger company.
But, I doubt any game Jorb and Loftar will make will sell things that let you be better in any way.
I am sure there will be only cosmetic things to buy in cash shop.
And, if there aren't only cosmetic things then it probably will only be played by people with money to spend :)

There are many different types of microtransactions. Some games that use them do give you an advantage in pvp. These suck. But there are others that are only cosmetic or for convenience. Avatar changers, exclusive avatars/outfits, resurrections, potions, teleports, larger inventories, and so on.

all depends on how they set it up, microtransactions are not a bad thing in themselves. F2P may be the only model a permadeath game could succeed under anyways
