Do enough damage to make a bear run away and then run back so it's "tamed". Then just walk around the xroad so it tries to path through it, it should break the xroad to try to get to you rather than try to path around it.

I thought the taming bug was fixed. What, more specifically, do you mean by "run back"?

Bears still run away and become peaceful. If you do it right, you can still get them to come back to you and follow you, but not attack.

EDIT: That is if you follow them so they don't deaggro and don't despawn.

Attack bear/deer/boar, it runs, as long as aggro isn;t lost they are "peaced" and no longer attack you. Lead animal to whatever and put object betweren yourself and animal. WHACK WHACK WHACK broken. Also, deers and beers do a weird twisting thing and make the breaking noise whilst rutting at you.

sometimes they...i dunno, cross a server boundry maybe and dissapear? other than that they return to where you are and bump into you but don;t attack.
