On pancakes, I mean. But now that you've mentioned, I've never tried pancakes with slivovitz. Hmm, time for science!

Oh, and here's some more spam from me to hasten implementation of slivovitz and other rakias:

Oh, any chance of getting maple syrup soon? Would go great with these pancakes.

So, how long does it take a hen to lay an egg? IMHO it should happen at the very least once per game day (ie 8 RL hours), but a friend who caught some this morning didn't get any yet.

Arguably. I haven't really decided yet. Right now it takes about three in-game days (one real day, i.o.w.). I'm just a bit afraid that you'll be bathing in eggs and chickens before long. :)

Yeah, but compare it to the cows' gestation period :P

BTW, when you do that chicken update you mentioned, any chance of having chickens walk around the coop? I think it'd add some atmosphere to have more animals walking around a farm.

Being that I was practically raised on a farm 2 months out of the year I can tell you personally, that calm, healthy, well fed chickens lay eggs at LEAST once every 24 hours.

if a chicken lays an egg and breeds it, does it stop laying eggs for the time or will it just continue? how long does it take till an egg turns into a little chicken?

Or fence gates?
