Sleep in a bed for several RL hours at least. Also, drink booze.
Surprise.

Yes, us cave miners would appreciate milestones inside caves. :)

And at least walking speed with carts inside caves. :)

... or you move at running speed when following a milestone. :)

Lighted Hanging Lanterns. Attach them to walls. Can be made out of any type of metal, but require a new oil resource as a fuel. You can follow the path so long as it stays lit, and running into an unlit torch would stop you. Adds a new dynamic to lighting in caves and mines but considering it acts as a permanent light source and an easy way to navigate the caves, I think it'd be worth the maintenance hitch.

Seconded.
Some people are just naturally nice. I should know, I have two of them rotting under my bed.

Now all we need is horse/ox pulled carts and trade will have a rebirth.

How you can destroy it?

Why not make carts able to go through it?

Any ways to solve carts problem with current mechanics?

Make a ton of milestones on each side of the road, then you should manage to weave to each side avoiding the stones themselves.

Hmmm. Maybe now they could give us something that won't make paving such a tedious affair.

Should I put on a toga after this? :)
