Also making this change in a world built around long distance travel without even slightest warning seems fucked up idea to me.

if on purpose it's a neat method in getting rid of long time players :P

Well, I'm not throwing any accusations or anything, It was just a theory, and it would make sense if they wanted to see how a no long distance oathing game might change the world.
I'm not against experimentation in preparation for that lovely looking game.

Also, loftar asked me earlier what about the combat reminded me of salem and I had no answer, I think it might just be the toolbar pictures? or the hits followed with more hits. I dunno.

It was a mistake. We tried to crash the server using old bugs but they were all fixed as we had already reported them. Tried to find new ones but wasn't successful. There exists a few ones we know that will crash the server but they would require some heavy preparations and can't be done on a whim. To the contrary crashing the server is often completely randomly discovered and often things that are outside the usual train of thought.

Do we know if they will wipe the world with the new build or not?

More interested in knowing whether we can have the old server code, once they set the new build of Haven up.

Not being able oath is bad and all, but I find temporary changes like this interesting, as they force us to change the way we play and break the routine. Too bad they are not intentional. It would be awesome if we couldn't plant anything for a week, if animal spawns temporarily increased, or stuff like that.

That was my thought as well, which is why I'm waiting until the server needs to be restarted. :)
