Make Akihabara Great again!

Postby RoboKy » Mon Aug 28, 2017 9:32 pm

Been living in Akihabara for about 3 months now. I am fairly well established and am now looking for villagers!

Some rules!
1) Make your own plot - My village is more than big enough to accommodate many people. If you want a small hermitage, go for it! If you want to build a Micro village within the village, be my guest! Make it private, make it public, I don't care! Your plot is your plot!

2) Public Service - Once you've become established, you may then do a public service to either the kingdom of Akihabara or the village. This can be hosting feasts once a week, getting logs and boards for future projects, or even donations of high quality material to make public domains. As long as it helps the public then you're cool in my books! In return, if you helped out enough, then you may have a key to public domain storehouses (Explained later). More active and trusted members of the village will be rewarded with further privileges such as being able to request money from the village treasury, having a heavier word in village affairs, or being approved more often on enormous projects. The more you contribute, the more influence you have! (Within reason)

3) Village Militia - Every villager must make and maintain a combat alt. Even though you do not know how the combat system works, you must make one for when duty calls. For those that do not know how combat works, many people in Akihabara can and will be more than happy to help train you and help you better understand the system.

4) Be active! - Don't just die on us without a saying so. If by chance you have to leave for an extended period of time, then have a trusted friend tend to your plot during your vacation. If you plan on moving on to greener pastures, then please be generous and leave the keys to your plot for future generations to come.

+1) Energy Tables - With lots of construction and heavy labor going around, the community has decided to set tables full of food out for those that need energy. Every villager is required to place and maintain a table full of food for the community to use when they are in need of energy. Your food can be stockpiles of carrots and beets, or you can go a step above and make sausages and salads, it doesn't matter.

Now! Whats in it for you?
1) Freedom - We are not looking for any specific roles or jobs that needs to be filled. All that we are asking for is to be progressive in what you do and donate to the community any surplus you can. Want to be a baker? Then Be the best darn baker in all of Akihabara! Want to be a miner? Then dig those tunnels and kill those trolls! Want to make a micro community of RPers and just Role play all day? Go for it, just don't flood village or kingdom chat! You can play solo, with 5 million alts, or with friends! Just have fun and keep coming back!

2) Public Domains - As stated above, each villager is required to do at-least one public service before they earn their public domain key. The key will give you access to various other services such as the food storage, Animal shelter, or Curio house as well as any other public projects that might be appearing in the future. Some public domains are free to use however such as the Portal, the kiln, quarry, mines and public farmland.

3) Public Services - By living in the village, you have access to public services, I make food and host a big feast once a week for my public service. Sure you have to put in work, but in return you can also benefit from the efforts of those that do theirs. Hunted an animal that's too hq for you to properly butcher? Look for a villager who can provide that service. Someone threatening you? We have a village militia for that sort of thing! Need help cooking a massive amount of food before your next feast? Ask for help! The public service system is not meant to leach labor off the villagers. It is meant to help us grow as a community, to work together and to build bonds!

+1) Starter Kit! - New members get all the leather, rope and glue that they require to build a palli and study desk. People who know what they wish to do but has had a rough or late start to the game may requisition an equipment set to help bolster their abilities a bit.
Starter Kit Includes:
-10 construction grade leather
-5 construction grade rope
-6 construction grade glue
-Escorted access to the curio house to start you with some curios
-An equipment set for those that know what they wish to do

OK... Now whats in it for this guy?

I am looking for people to build bonds with. Playing alone for so long has made the game fairly dull for me and I fear that come next world, I will once again be alone. By having this village, I can find those right people who will be more than happy to join me in my future ventures on w11 when w10 is over. I plan on making a great and powerful kingdom in the future that people from all corners of the world can respect and love. I am using this village as both a recruitment method and as a way to help me build the necessary leadership skills for the next worlds to come.

If you wish to apply or have any questions, just shoot me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

If you don't have Andrzej Duda's portrait in your village, you should get one ASAP. It would give it +2137% bonus to coolness.

You're a good guy, I hope your village will thrive.

Good question. The only way I know how to get to the capital is by roads. I never actualy walked there before.

well just be careful. the time youve been in the area, is about the average for medium sized groups to survive in my area of aki. ive noticed that in my section, anyone who starts a plot claim and isnt an obvious solo with nothing of value, or a massive group with no chance of beating, gets their plot raided and completely destroyed within about 3 months. probably from the same raider camp thats south of me and has been growing over my time here while every other claim around us gets wiped out and their walls get filled with corpses.

It would probably be more profitable for them to work with us instead of against us. We have warriors and we have multiple palisades that would be a pain in the butt to destroy one by one. If they want something, they should just ask for a trade.

whoever it is dosent seem to be doing anything for profit. im usually the vulture that picks over the remains in the area and takes everything that can be lifted, and i walk onto plots filled with corpses and animal corpses full of high quality stuff. one time i found a cupboard literally full with q150+ antlers. the most recent one had several cupboards full of q120+ meats of various kind, q70 treeplanter pots, a q50 butter churn (seriously, who the hell walks by a q50 anything made of wood and says "meh, i dont want that"), several dozen barrels full of milk and q60 flour, etc.

so yeah. just be careful, because someone in aki is a group full of pure asshats only here to ruin other peoples fun. i suggest extreme aggression to anyone wandering around outside your gates. maybe leave some scattered corpses outside so they know not to stick around.
