Started playing this. Might like it more than Salem because this game looks more complicated. How's the population? I have played Salem for a year before my group fell apart after the 2nd-in-command died.

The server is up
There are 251 hearthlings playing.
Among these, there are 75 from Russian Federation, 25 from United States of America, 24 from Ukraine, 17 from Republic of Korea, and 11 from Poland.
I'd say the server population (at this point in the world) is better than it ever has been. 251 at a single time, 9 months after server started. That's impressive for haven. Updates roll out frequently, there's player built markets where you can quickly get your industry up by selling cheap stuff for golden quills or other currencies, this is probably the best time to start playing for a player who is not participating in the hardcore nolifer ratrace.
Just don't expect to be of competitive stats or quality etc. I wouldn't worry too much about grinding stats as you won't accomplish anything with it, there are people with over 10 thousand stats now. The system is kinda broken so I suggest just enjoy the game and the new features and do some larping and attending events and socializing and building before the next reset.
Also, the botting is at an all-time low now (it's still happening, but much less than it has in the legacy haven).

The kingdom is awesome, but they are in war with some people, so i guess new people are not that trusted.
