While I think there are some core tenants of what it is to be AMERICAN that AMERICANS can disagree on

If this tenant is core tenant then how American can disagree on it? Meaning of core is that it is base for what it is to be this American. The core shared by all American. If other men are to come here, then they must agree at least on this core or this core will be eroded.

I think the focus of this thread should be our shared love for our country and troops who protect our freedoms. Never forget.

Of course I will love this continent. America is greatest continent in world. Though I am not sure how much love I will have from my troops. They do not do this service to me out of goodness of their hearts, they will do it because I pay subscription fee for their service. Really, I suspect that these child soldier will rather be playing with popgun than defending my property and loved one with live firearm, but I say if they detest this so much then they can quit.

That said, someone has asked me what the "rules" should be for openly carrying a sword in AMERICA. Being that this is not a dictatorship I think we should hold the question open to all citizens of our blessed continent.

People who live in Africa have the right of self-determination as far as I'm concerned. But the names of the continents is are pretty straightforward if you live in AMERICA.
