I don't think anyone's under the impression that the solutions put forward wouldn't be worked around but literally anything would be better than two or three hearthfires sitting around every valuable resource with nude characters logging in every few days to snatch them.

''Come up with better suggesting'' is not same as ''give up try to figure out solution.''

Just like how he got salty when people talked about stacking cupboard exploit.
Already talking about these issues makes him shiver in fear.
The goys know shut it down!!!

Attack opponent credibility is useless technique, you must attack his idea.

I guess this Snail poster is BadGuy™, so he is not popular on forum? I do not understand it really, but surely his detractors can do better than this!

The Moot is made for attacking peoples credibility and labeling people "bad guys".

I figured this thread is just for shit talk since it was in The Moot.

good luck pushing any meaningful change for this problem

Why not just inspect the resource, go there shortly before it spawns with a sword and KO the alts when they log on? Nowadays it takes a long time to harvest a local resource.

That is pretty good and fun to do.
Sadly at the same time the other 10 salt nodes will have just an alt picking it and I cant split myself like a slime.
So resource collecting is alt based now and we must live with it until something changes.
There are some suggestions for this over at CnI.

I still think grabbing a local resource should give you a redhanded debuff for an hour where you cant log out or hearth.

With the time it takes to harvest now, a message to the end user like the deep ocean water gives would give enough warning to new players as well. If they didn't want the debuff, they'd have ample time to cancel harvesting.

... could always p-claim over the botting alt fireplaces just after it's been collected and destroy their hearth fires.

Place two alts, one alt gathers, the other one picks it up from the ground and logs off

Could also just tie the debuff to the item itself, making it so that holding that item for the next hour makes it so you can't log out or hearth. It's not an unsolveable problem i don't think.
