What is your monthly income in USD if you don't mind saying?

so using this moth's pay, i get paid about 500k .bsf as a base payment for the people of my position plus 200k bsf for the time i have been working in my position, now, later we got paid 200k bsf more for the food tickets, so a total of 900k. to this you can probably add the government bonus those who register for a government credential get that get's going around once a month or some times 2, which this time in particular was of 350k and if you add it to the total you get 1.250k bsf i got this payday. every 15th and every last day of the month i should get paid, so you can add the work payment for a total of 1.950k a month more or less. at the time of this post, the dollar is at 177.691bsf, so this month salary is around 11$ if you count the bonus everyone gets. so to have more or less of an idea of what can you buy with it, 1kg of ground beef is being sold as of today at 800k bsf, a loaf of bread at 100k, a carton of egg (30) is around 2.000k i think, i haven't bough milk in ages since it's too expensive but it's probably at 400k a liter. But yeah, at least water, electricity and internet are free, unless something in the internet breaks, then you have to pay a third party to fix it for the isr, which can cost from 20 to 50 dollars, and this is only if you already were subscribes since years before evrerything went to shit, since they aren't taking new clients. water comes once every 2 weeks and sometimes is gone for a month tho, and electricity at this time goes for 4 hours every 3 days, and this was better than before when it was gone every day for 6 hours.

Here in France, one single litre of fuel is sold something like 1.50€ that's about 1.65$. There must be so much people in between that get all the profit.

I read that USA is messing with Venezuela on purpose (as it does with most of America latina).
Then some other sources say that Maduro ruined the country.
What do you think about that ?

Having a lot of natural resources while not being a developed country is a curse. There are many countries in
Africa for example with plentiful natural resources (like rare earth metals), who are just being abused by western countries and companies.

Having some mad people rulíng your country is no good either. They did all kinds of stupid things with their currency, eventually causing yearly inflation of more than 2 000 000%.
Problem is that no one wants to exchange a currency that may lose 99% of its value within the next year, if the ruler decides to do something stupid again.
Venezuela is also rather dependant on imports from other countries. They are having issues having even their oil plants running, because they cannot afford (or just refuse to?) to buy parts and work for maintenance.

Taxation on fuel is usually high, most likely more than 50% of that is tax imposed by french government.
Transporting fuel costs like nothing if it can be done with ships, because of the great efficiency that huge oil tankers provide. Cost of one liter of fuel is only few dozen cents in countries where it is produced.
