Each offer is only 2 EoC. Random items are listed for sale. You have to buy an item to refresh offer.

After sailing for one hour I found the market entry blocked by some bushes.

Same. You can walk through them though, but it is a pain in the ass and not obvious at all.

OK dude, I'll rearrange the bushes :)

It was done to prevent animal griefing. Though I don't know if it's a thing nowadays.

You mean bringing an animal engaged in combat through the gates to destroy everything so that scents don't show up? Yes. It is still "a thing." I'd suggest posting a request in How Do I? for good examples. Maybe some folks can PM you some images or links of good examples. I'd rather not see people get off the topic of trade in this section.
