Learn fishing and also construct a drying frame and place the raw hide on it. (you clearly already have hunting seeing as how you killed the rabbit.)

Also start foraging for some spindly taproot and blueberries.

Alternatively, try raiding an anthill and get eaten by ants like a noob.

 SUCK ON A TAPROOT!

... all those cone cows made you Hungry. That taproot might help.

And don't forget to get some extra LP by pulling the boughs off a fir tree for the big part of the rack.

You do all those thingies, regardless of the lack of resources in the immediate landscape.
That taproot... isn't looking very appetizing.
I think Kitty was a lot more food than expected.

Hmm... Surviving sure is a little... Uneventful?
Man, I sure hope a major story event happens soon.

Let's take a nice peaceful walk along a nearby river. ;)

Lol, you're the one who made it all 'by the book' .... this is pretty normal hnh life until you get something to steal, run into a noob killer - cuts story pretty short - or meet some friendly folk ..... lets go with that .....

Whilst walking along the river you see a boat advancing in the distance, you feel somewhat embarrassed having no clothes but are so desperate for some company you cover your modesty with the now dried hide and stand by the bank waving your arms and shouting " hey, over here .... guys".
The boaters spot you and head towards you, it appears to be two ppl, one wearing the hide of a bear and the other in a rather fetching straw hat.

Oh, don't you worry, Amanda.
Things are going to get interesting very soon.

Hmm, cryptic (esp considering it was you who was worried the storyline wasn't very eventful, lol) and also slightly threatening ......

You wander around, find an ant hill. Attack it. But, noob you are, the ants kick your ass and KO you.

Not long after, few days later, you're still lying on the ground, and a man in a weird looking helmet comes up to you. "lol, noob", he says, "you're too weak to kill ants". He then buries a stone in you with his sling for good measure, and walks off.

Depressing, innit? Ah, well. At least you are alive. And... he left something on the ground... (not the stone).
