I've always enjoyed reading the runestones because you just never know what they're gonna say, so I figured there should be a thread where we just post screenshots of the entertaining runestones we find.

Whether they're funny, violent, creepy, signs of a butthurt person, or whatever.

Well, I dont have a pic, but while I was wandering around to find a spot to settle as my hermit, at nearly every skeleton, there would be a runestone something like "RIP, though a never knew you, you were a good man ~szsz". Now, I traveled for at least a few hours, and turned back multiple times to go different ways before I found a spot, yet the runestones were always frequent. I have no idea who this szsz guy is or how he managed to runestone nearly every death in most of a whole supergrid, but he did, and I honor him for it.

I did eventually find a runestone with his HS on it, but he's never been online, so my guess he quit

I know szsz, It was his thing to respect the dead....He seemed to have good luck from it.
He was able to get so many pearls from mussels, jammy bugger

i lost the screenshots, but in late w3, with lots of abandoned settlements, i saw so many runestones saying "owl is watching you" everywhere when i made a scout exploring around. they actually freaked me out a bit.

Lol I remember seeing a graveyard just like that one outside of a village before too!
The runestones were hilarious lol.
