Postby Jareczko » Mon Aug 24, 2015 3:34 pm

I want to ask about new engine coming 28th August.

I've started playing HnH with my friend 2 days ago. At the moment we are building Palisade.
Will the game be reseted again for the new world?
We wouldn't like to start again :/

The current world is not ending - it will stay online, at least for a time.
The new world will be running in parallel - and only there will be a new engine.
So if you want to play the newer version, you have to leave your current place and characters behind.

The current world is in more of a zombie state anyway. Don't expect the world to stay around much longer after hafen's release.

We found some old villages where we found silkmoth eggs q65 and many other COOL items.
We also finished first cornerpost of the palisade one hour ago.
It should be better that this world was compiled on the new engine or something like this. I'm not a professional on this xD

Definitely move to new world soonest. I mean it might be unplayable the first couple of hours, days, w/e, because of the inevitable woes of a new server combined with new code combined with a huge influx of pretty much everyone who's played haven coming back for the combo of new world and new engine. But as soon as you consider the new server playable hop right on. There is a huge benefit to being in right from world start; you can actually have a good chance of keeping up with everyone else. You've actually got the perfect situation really; you have been playing w7 long enough to presumably know what's going on, and now you can jump in on an even footing with everyone else. I mean, not perfectly even because the guys who have been playing forever will be powerleveling like crazy, and a lot of them unfortunately will be botting the very instant they either can write or download bots for the new engine, but more so than you would have a chance of otherwise.

Think of it this way; those silkworms you found are horribly outdated on the current world, considered trash to the established players even if they seem neat to you. However on the new world the base quality silk worms will be top of the line :D

Why is gaming always seen as competition by so many not as an experience for oneself ?!? And why not "The route is the goal" in both worlds ?!?

I'm a player since minute one of this world and i only have some q 20+ silkmoth eggs stored atm - so be proud of having beaten me ;) ;) ;)

There's more to the game than the rat race.

I'm not playing HnH to be the best. I want to consume time and spent time with my friend.
I'm not trying to get better quality for glory, i want my items and buildings to be at good condition for longer. :)

I'm not even good at PvP or whole combating ;)

Thanks for everyone who replied in this thread
