I don't think Chrome remembers passwords. Just go back to using Firefox, it's better anyway.

You can all kiss my chrome polished ass.

Chrome is capable of memorizing passwords (something I wouldn't reccomend doing unless you maintain a strong selinux/apprmor profile, firewall, and whole disk encryption..but that's just me).

It can also remember cookies. This is an issue with cookie retention, not remembering passwords. Adjust the settings for how chrome retains cookies in

(Wrench Icon) -> Options -> Under the Hood -> Cookies ->

Check Allow data to be set (recommended)

OR

Check ask or block and set BOTH http://www.heavenandhearth.com AND http://www.seatribe.se under 'exceptions' as the 'pattern' and set to 'allow' or 'ask'

Enjoy FF ass kicking flash preformance and better-than-FF cookie managment.

INcidentally you *MAY* have it set to clear cookies upon close. IF so, uncheck this option.

For the most secure cookie management (but most annoying) check "ask" and make rules for your frequently visited sites as they crop up and set blocking rules for ads & etc.

Chrome works fine for me saving logon password. I don't recall any extra configuration to get it to work

Alternatively, you may want to use the "installable" client and let it remember you. (Its identity saving is much more secure anyway.)

As you may or may not know, Firefox can encrypt its password store. Doesn't Chrome have any similar feature?

Given that truecrypt was recently broken (and repaired) I personally don't trust anything less than whole disk encryption with sensitive material. If you gotta be paranoid, do it right.
