Really annoys me when peeps such as yourself come along and try to shame/blame newbs in the game because they literally are just learning it. Perhaps jackasses should learn not to be twats to everyone they meet. Better yet, how interesting would Haven be if in the first 6 weeks of the game no one can buy/use rage or other negative things against other hearthlings to give everyone a fair chance at a World Start. Instead of waving epeens around and sniping newbs they'd actually have to put in some effort.

This is not about "shaming newbs" and noone is implying it except you and OP. People here are trying to help with valid advice.
What you call "bullying noobs" is not reserved to "newbs", nor to "bullies". It is not some kind of a special "welcome to reality". It is one group trying to establish control over an area, while another one is trying the same. Both are mutually exclusive.
Why even call the people "noobs" and imply shame?
I would call them by their real name:
- a smaller in numbers
- less experienced and less prepared
- less organized
- less aggressive
- less motivated
- group of underdeveloped characters
- without any pvp-enabling skills/stats/equipment/strategy
- and without a solid base defense.
They are trying to shoo away another group:
- a larger in numbers
- more experienced and more prepared
- definitely way more organized
- and more aggressive
- and more motivated
- group of better developed characters
- with all the right pvp-enabling skills/stats/equipment/strategy
- and with a solid base defense.
It becomes obvious after you look at it, that the weaker group can do nothing to force the stronger group away.
Any kind of telling them "oh how harsh it is, but keep trying" is just throwing dust in their eyes. Same with "jackasses will learn and become better people". It is a part of the game, and a major one. One might also want to read the manifesto: "Developer Thoughts on PvP"
