It's always been easier to start over, and while at first glance its discouraging, it brings it's own fun

Thanks for the thread. Sadly, there are no threads that are full of drama and tens of pages on the forums since all the shittalk has moved to Discord diarrhea. Boomer btw

You shouldn't.
He is a griefer and I was fooled to believe he changed for this world.
It just happens another griefer(snail) and some faction people punished him.

Im not saying this is the case, i have no clue but hypothetically if a hermit puts in more hours than a small group of players who is really at disadvantage in this game? Its why i have no long term interest in hnh while there is alot of depth/know-how(+ exploits) its still ultimately a competition of sheer no-lifery.

Not saying im unimpressed but you and others (dole etc) have shown hermit can be high level developed. Hermiting can be very efficient, most groups contain alot of leechers especially pvp ego kids.

Tldr: hermits can be worthy targets for sieges by groups

Theoretically the only limiting factor in a character outstatting you is who makes the character first, luck on finding the right curios and foods for FEP development, good Q base material areas, and sadly, money.

Because if you have two characters starting on the same day and getting LP and FEPs at an equal rate, the dude who has a subscription just wins by default. No matter what you do. 30% Development rate is significant enough that it has effectively made that situation a P2W one. In reality though, no-one starts on exactly the same day except on world reset and after a while power differences arise, so, doesn't matter.

Hermits are capable of doing a lot if they use alts but due to the way hunger works with stat progression and having to spread out your LPs more if you want to do everything, it's much faster to get good at a specific thing on a dedicated alt, this is the only way realistically a hermit is ever going to keep up with a faction. The upside however, is that a hermit's progression on their combat alt would basically be the same as the faction's one. Ofc, you just have more straight up combat alts in the faction, so gg.
