Open Villages? Or Travel Buddies?

Starting a new character, was wondering if there are any villages needing a new char for some type of work? Looked through the forums, village posts seem a little dated, not sure if they would still be looking. If not, I would love to start fresh with as many new characters that are willing, to travel the world and make ourselves a village and such.

I've played on and off since world 6-7. Been a few years since I've officially last played, but I got back into it to test the waters, and my char sadly died. So here I am looking for the above.
