You've been farming carrots since day 2 probably, what has changed? Same goes with growing your trees, mining your ores, and everything else in the game. Once you reach the point where you can hunt mammoths / whales and do the dungeons, everything else is just repeating it over and over. You don't want a fresh world? Go play legacy

Isn't the game about learning to let go of virtual identities, belonging and empires? Isn't the game about learning this crucial lesson? To radically accept and cherish the act of leaving behind an avatar and story?

I have always felt this game is a wonderful mentor. And ultimately it applies to our real life as well. One fine day we will have to let go of our biological avatar and all the fabricated stories around it. And with enough H&H "practice", that process might even be liberating.
