Taking the drinking water as a reason, when there is a public well of that quality on that continent and they clearly have a knarr, so gathering a large amount is no problem ... sure, only this one village can access that public accessable well ....
it is not docked at a brodgar claim.
and setteling on a less populated place on the map is really, clearly a reason to assosiate people to each other, not that they try to get farther away from bullshit in densly populated areas ... oh no, who could think that way?
and the discord thing is not even that rare, as many people are on several discords just for communication and trading stuff, but sure, it must mean 100% they belong there ...
