Tbf the variations are one thing about pickling that kinda sucks, but just the process itself is really fucking painful even once you have the perfect recipe down.

Pickling itself is extremely easy, it just needs a semi-sizeable place to do it, that's all there really is to it.

Unless you're talking about the process of putting veggies into a jar - it's quite simple as well, just use a client that does it the best - Ender or Nurgling is good enough.

you dont even need ender to pickle stuff in a time efficient way.

you can pick up stockpiles of the stuff you want you want to pickle and they will go directly into your jars.

you can prepare pickling brine by using barrels for input and output.

you need... salt, laurel, pepper, chives. can also get sage and dill for the some of the other best stuff.

pickling is good and pretty ez overall. all the products are stackable too, except for eggs? cant recall atm.

I never used jars before the patch because it looked terrible. The crocks are decent, though now people have to juggle a lot more rock salt than before. It's better than cheese now, problem solved
