A man wanted to pay someone real money to kill people in a village he claimed had mistreated him. It later turned out that things weren't as he claimed, and he himself had been running some kind of scheme, and when things went wrong, he wanted to frame the villagers. This quickly came to light, and he disappeared by editing his posts, which contained a lot of "self-criticism" and calls for people to insult him on Discord—presumably so he could complain about it and get people banned from Discord.
