Lmao the entitlement. At least SnuggleSnail is honest about being a newbie player.

Can you unpack why you think this was some kind of epic bait or prank because I feel like I am missing something here.

You guys know what in Hafen is the most valuable thing you can have? Tokens? Nah. Super duper fed fighter alt? Naaah. Custom client for uber boting? Very nah. Being a leader of any larger or smaller group / the feeling of power? Even more naah. The most valuable currency in Hafen, in this anyhow small community is trust and reputation (especially within other trusted people and stability of your behavior). This is not something you can just make by botting like crazy or just dig in the lower parts of the mines. I don't get involved in forum often but I can say that Razz and couple other people related to him are one of the most valuable (considering the terms above) people in Hafen I know.

I wasn't going to come out with this story but now I feel that I must.

It was a foggy Christmas Eve nearly 15 years ago. I was casually playing Haven and Hearth for the first time in the dead of the night when a mysterious man mugged me from behind. I was but a child then, and thought that I might have unspeakable things done to me, but fortunately for me it was Razzbane and not a different member of WB.

Razzbane kidnapped me and took me to his devilish Razzlair where his Razzminions took me to a dark room filled with the rotting corpses of the children previously slain by him. These children had been skinned and I realized then that Razzbane was a child cannibal who subsided on the flesh of his fellow species... but even worse yet, I found the hanging corpse of Santa Claus himself, whom Razz had slaughtered on Christmas Eve. Luckily i had managed to hide a spoon which I quickly used to tunnel out of Razzbane's house.

His Razzminions tried to stop me but I immediately recognized them to be Hafen players, so I threw a women at them and much like matter coming into contact with antimatter, the Razzminions annihilated into pure energy after coming into contact with a women. At first i thought I was safe until I saw Razz burst out of his lair with Santa Claus' unspeakables in his mouth.

"Mmmmm delicious Santa fries." He said. As he rushed towards me. I thought I was soon to die but luckily just as he came close to me, the Great Wizard of Winter parted the night sky. With the sunlight just over the horizon Razzbane retreated back into his layer. The sun nearly touched Razz's skin but luckily he managed to dodge it entirely. The Great Wizard of Winter then formed a women out of snow for me which miraculously turned into a real women whom you are all aware of because I married her on Christmas Day which is how i became a legend in the Hafen community.

You already know my name and of my marriage to the Maiden of Winter, as I am so epic and legendary in this community but I just wanted everyone to know how the noble and legendary Razzbane contributed to my great success.

I still vividly remember the first time I met Razzbane, the enigmatic trader of WB. Razzbane had just set up his stall, and a crowd quickly gathered around him, drawn by the glimmer of his wares and the promise of adventure.

As I approached, I could see an array of axes displayed prominently—each one more impressive than the last. Razzbane, with his charming smile and silver tongue, boasted that these axes were crafted for greatness. “Trade your tokens for one of my axes,” he said, “and you’ll be equipped for any challenge!”

Excited by the prospect, I had been saving my tokens for weeks, believing they would lead me to something extraordinary. So, when it was finally my turn, I eagerly handed over all my tokens, envisioning the adventures that awaited me with my new axe.

With a flourish, Razzbane presented me with a stone axe. It looked rugged, but as I examined it more closely, I noticed it was chipped and worn. “This will serve you well,” he assured me, his voice dripping with confidence. “A true warrior’s tool!”

I left the stall, my heart racing with anticipation. But as I swung the axe to test it, it broke almost immediately, splintering in my hands. Confusion turned to disappointment as I realized I had traded all my tokens for a worthless piece of stone.

Days passed, and the excitement of that first encounter faded into a bitter lesson. Razzbane had vanished, leaving behind a trail of broken dreams and empty promises. The villagers shared their stories, and I learned I wasn’t the only one who had fallen for his charm.

That broken stone axe became a symbol of my naivety—a reminder that not everything that glitters is gold. My encounter with Razzbane taught me to be cautious and discerning, a lesson that echoed through the village long after he had disappeared.
