Pickling is criminally bad.

Claim:

Loftar and Jorb have never once pickled anything ever. Not once.

The process is terrible. The result is terrible.

You secretly hate pickling and made it exactly the way you want it.

Whats so bad about it?
I've seen people post insane FEP foods on discord.
If anything the results are too powerful.

Pickling is op as fuck and at the same time it's one of the worst mechanics in the game qol wise for no reason other than bad design.

Pickled food has the potential to be nuts but it just adds a whole additional layer of food variance that the game really, really, really does not need

Food variance is a cancer upon the hearthlands and it keeps getting bigger

Of course, that's precisely the goal: to add so many variations that it becomes very difficult to rationalise. The whole game has to be about that... Fuck efficiency!
