No. End products get tradced for end product. You're probably looking at a few chests of mass produceables or a dozen or so MBC assuming anyone really needs MBC anymore.

this is odd because I asked to trade sodom for some steel because I was too lazy to make it and they didn't accept food in return. Seems like your villagers disagree huh?
Oh and you don't need q80 clay to make 69 steel, q 60 clay will do assuming you have access to some nice soil and water to make q80 ish trees.

Steel is something that is valued for the time consumption that it takes to make a single batch. The quality means that the steel is also valued for the time/luck put into actually obtaining materials high enough to keep the steel quality high. Considering this would require creating trees that are of a certain quality, getting clay/bricks to a certain quality, and then also sitting there and feeding it for 2 days, it's costly.

Compare this with the 8~ hours roughly to find 3 pearls (if you're diligent, it's been done before, find a good place with a crossroad, a house and a cauldron inside right on the lake, no problem ) and the difference is far too high. Anyone with 50 per, 50 exp (Super easy to get) can find mussels and start off with pearls for trade.

I agree that it isn't, but I doubt he'll be able to get Q69 steel for anything else.
