Thief Alert: Village of Mrowisko

Postby TheDreamstalker » Mon Aug 30, 2010 7:32 am

Hello fellow Hearthians. I come today to give you a grave warning of a thief amongst us. He lives in the Village of Mrowisko and is a dirty thief. He has stolen from me and my fellow friends in our small little village. He has stolen a boat and various high ql items and items of importance to us. I wish you shall bring him to justice and teach him a lesson about stealing. His village is off a river and an obvious trap for players to cruise along and moor on the shore, to lose their boat to his Village Claim. Be weary my friends.

In moments like this I want to kill many idiots from my country. Mrowisko is in Polish "ant hill". So that imbecil is from Poland.

I don't meant to be rude, but i've got my village claim on a river aswell, it's not an 'obvious trap'. It's your own fault if you don't simply toggle the village/personal claim options whenever you log on.

It lets you know about claims long before you reach them, so that such events can be easily avoided.

Whilst i'm not contesting that he stole from you, to conclude that he set up a trap is nothing more than an assumption.

It sounds to me like you moored on his claim without having your claim visibility toggled and then found that you'd left scents because of your own mistake.

Did he steal as in left a scent in your place? Or did he "steal" in the sense you got off your boat under his claim?

If some smartass left a boat with high q items on my claim, well you know, that boat and the items inside, as well as possibly the person in the boat would be mine.
Before you take insult to this post, keep in mind that I am simply a warrior of truth.

Well, they're dealt with. I got some help from a couple friends and they were done with. Both of them are repeating thieves who don't get a clue the first time.

As one of the people who helped deal with the thief, I can assure you that a boat full of stuff mistakenly left behind was NOT the only problem, the thief, a polish player, had left scents on Dreamstalker's property, in addition to having stolen from multiple others, including myself leaving scents behind at multiple places. At one point, he tried to set up a village claim that would have overlapped my hermitage, and I forced him and the rest of his band away. Given that the location they had chosen near myself would have also overlapped a river, I am fairly sure that they did it as a trap to get boats in this manner.
