Not that I cannot see your point, but there are a few to the contrary;
1st, I am adamant about keeping the integrity of bounding boxes -- allowing them to overlap for any reason whatsoever is just inviting trouble;
2nd, maybe you should try to not aggro so many foxes that you'll have their cadavers fall over you

3rd, all you have to do is get knocked out

4th, you seem to have had a companion there to help you.
As for the first point, there are some things which I plan to alter regarding collisions checking, but the basic point remains. If you can move over them, then they, too, will be able to, and that means that there could be several overlapping corpses and that's most likely a bad idea.
