Hey friends.

I am starting anew, as we all are.

When I played before, there were quite a few of my friends and acquaintances playing, and things got really hectic. Elected as the lawspeaker and general planner/organizer, I was putting in more effort than I could really afford, as my work demands a lot of my time, and it is fairly important.

However, I'm still the type of person that likes to begin something and see it grow, which is one of the great appeals of this game to me.

So in lieu of joining an already established community, I have begun to carve out my own little corner of the world, and I invite all those who wish to casually play at their own pace, and contribute what they will, to join me.

At the end of the night I should have the first timber house built, so the area is fresh and new.

I'd like to join, but I will warn you I am a complete noob. I did start a character earlier in one of the towns that members from another forum were working on, but things have fallen apart there and I still barely know how to do anything. I think about the only productive thing my character could do was forage (poorly). I have some idea of how the game works, but I'll definitely need some help getting started. Still, I'm willing to contribute what I can, and I like the idea of a place where we can play at our own pace, because I'm in college and have very little free time.

I think that maybe anyone requesting to join here should post the in game name they are planning on playing as, just so that we can keep who is who straight, and know who came from the forum and who potentially just wandered by or something.

I'm known as AnotherBobbias, thanks to having used the name Bobbias elsewhere, but ignore the "Another", and just call me Bobbias. It looks like I'm going to be the farmer as soon as we get something more than that tiny garden going, but I don't plan on concentrating only on farming. Ultimately I want to be some sort of craftsman with a minor in farming and/or foraging and such so I can be as self sufficient as possible.

Also, we are in contact with another couple people who happen to have a mine, and we have reached the agreement that we will supply them with higher quality food and they will trade some metal with us. I can't speak for Yates, but my farming is nowhere near good enough to get decent quality food yet, so if someone is willing to be a dedicated farmer that would help things out greatly.
