Yeah, branches and stones and such only get LP up to 100, I believe. Maybe 200.

+1 Very good way to cut off grinding by requiring more then one resource.

While this is surely in jest it might actually be nice to have an improved form of bucket which holds more (not cause its bigger but because the stronger handle allows for heavier loads without breaking), metal tends to make everything better after all, why not water hauling.

How about

2 Blocks of wood + 1 String = "Pail" which holds 5 Liters.
1 Board + 1 nugget hard metal = "Bucket" which holds 10 Liters.

Pail is very simple and dose not even require a saw to make while Bucket is more advanced requiring metal but using it will be twice as fast and thus very much worth the one nugget.

No. Why do you people suggest things that make the game more of a hassle for players. If it takes a nugget I want it to be BETTER then it is now. If I have to use string I don't want it to be worse.

not a bad idea, string isnt that hard for new players to come across.

a nugget requirement is out of the question, though. how unsurprising that it came from someone so adept at making poor suggestions

String is a great idea. I hope that the grinders don't kill farmers in order to take their plant fibres, though. That'd be un-cool.

No need to worry about that, it would be very impractical.

Also realize that buckets would still be macroable with this change, but you'd be less likely to see bots clearcutting entire forests.

However, I would consider this only a temporary measure - something to add before implementing an improved LP system.

I forgot that rams require some steep resources and time.

I support this change, though it will make getter water a bit more annoying.

I'd also support a LP system change.

As I stated in another thread, they go where the LP is. As Bucket grinding has basically been destroyed of it's any sort of valuable LP(At least at low Carp levels with a crappy bonesaw..), you'll probably notice a drop in the actual bucket-making process. For the macro nubs, you'll probably notice a sharp increase due to more tree availability to chop down for buckets. Of course, I can't say for sure though as I am not totally 100% sure how much they cut down on the LP in relation to this.

Just like IRL people "go where the money is".
