Stone Machine

A machine like the plow. Would need these items for a slow one like a regular plow:
10 blocks of wood
10 sticks
4 boards
10 stones
For a metal one:
3 bars of any strong metal
10 blocks of wood
10 sticks
4 boards

Plows can be used to quickly plow the land and not waste as much stamina as you do by hand. Metal Plows get the job done faster so why do we have to lay stone by hand?
My idea: You make the machine and you have to insert the stones inside before hand and then you can go on your way. This could be used to save time, stamina (not a whole lot but still some), and a faster job. The regular stone machine would sometimes not pave every tile correctly so you have to pave some spots by hand or it will decay. As well as plows do the stone machines will decay over time and the regular stone machine will need blocks of wood to repair and the metal stone machine would need metal.

P.S: If this has been suggested before I did not find it so please post the link. Regardless I went into more detail most likely.
Certainly, in taking revenge, a man is but even with his enemy; but in passing it over, he is superior; for it is a prince’s part to pardon. - A wise friend.

A lean, mean paving machine? That would speed up road production so much as to make them exceedingly common. Those proposed costs seem too low.

Most importantly, such a machine never existed.

I'm sorry, but seriously... the whole 'does not fit the game setting' argument can be a bit weak and overused at times, but this is just silly.

I was just about to post that..

Perhaps a bull-drawn device that needs to be refiled every few tiles?

I don't know, I'm pretty content with the paving by hand speed.

I'd rather see some sort of hammer which you could pave maybe at 75% of the current time it takes to pave a tile, which should cost lots of resources.
This looks, smells ánd sounds overpowered, do not want in this way ;P

Next, we should have stone sacks to carry our stones like seeds in a seedbag. Paving over mudflats (ie clay nodes) in no time flat!

Dun dun da na!

Sling pouches were already suggested but I doubt they will be implemented... Most of the ideas on this forum seem to be ignored :(
As for the paving machine, its a neat idea. Maybe nerf it a bit by requiring a cow/ox to pull it (i'd like to see a large plow with similar design too one day )

I'm loving the plow idea. It'd make things so much faster for bigger farms.
