Animals/Monsters

As I understand it, the current system works whereby animals become stronger the further out you go. That is, even animal types. So, a fox in ring seven is stronger than a fox in ring two.

I'm wondering what other players think of this system, because personally I'm not a fan! At the moment, I think its certainly useful given that there are not many types of animals/monsters yet implemented, and if you want a challenge a 'higher level' version of an animal is available. However, what about in the long run?

Personally, I would like to see animal types remain the same strength, in general, no matter where you find them. A fox is still a fox, near your farm or deep in the forest. I suggest that the increased danger/challenge of heading out into the wilderness rings comes from coming into contact with stronger types of animals and/or in greater numbers.

I wouldn't mind it if there were a few 'versions' of an animal, such as 'wolf', 'ravenous wolf', 'rabid wolf' etc. distinguishable by name/slight difference in appearance such as size/colour. But having every ring simply add stat points to a base animal type the further out you go is no ideal in the long run in my opinion.

What do you guys think?

It's no problem, I just though I'd point it out.
