PvE Combat.... Easier please?

We've got a settlement which was rather secure until someone left the gate open, now there's a Boar going around slaughtering people in the village... I think we need to dumb down the mob attack power, or maybe make it a tad easier to kill things? I think 3 deaths in a 2 minute span is a bit much, considering we really can't do anything to get the boar to leave

You can out run boar very easily and if anyone had a house, cave, or boat you would have been perfectly safe.

The boar was camped outside the timber shack... Sure, they were safe inside, but they couldn't leave... Is there a way to drive a boar out short of making a throwaway alt ?

Wait for him to despawn or pull him away then get to safety. Do you have a waterskin (made from bunny furs)? If so, you can outrun a boar near indefinitely if you have a bucket of water. You can even just outrun it and break combat.

Make an alt, get boar after it and run outside the gate... simple as it could get.
